I was thinking, 'rogue drones' doesn't do them credit. You've got 'drones', which, fuck, I know too well, gives the whole suggestion of being mindless or without the capacity to reason, just slaving away to something -- and hell, 'rogue' implies that they need to be brought back into reign or something. When they go ahead and make technological advances far ahead of most of the cluster, though, and seem to be doing pretty alright for themselves? Eeeh.
Besides, 'autonomous machines' sounds better in general; 'rogue drones' sounds like the title of a cheap horror flick.
...I wonder if this was Ghost's reasoning or not, actually. Need to ask sometime.
